The SOCOTRAN T80 is a PMR446 license-free two-way radio designed for reliable communication. It features 8 channels, 98 privacy codes, VOX hands-free operation, an LED flashlight, and an LCD with backlight. This manual provides instructions for proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your T80 walkie-talkie.

4. סעטאַפּ גייד

4.1. באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג

3. Slide the battery cover latch (if present) or gently pry open the cover.
4. Insert the Li-ion battery into the compartment, ensuring the contacts align correctly with the radio's terminals.

4.2. טשאַרדזשינג די באַטערי

Before first use, fully charge the battery. The T80 walkie-talkie uses a desktop charger.

1. Connect the charger adapter to a power outlet and the USB charging cable to the desktop charger.
2. Place the walkie-talkie into the desktop charger, ensuring the charging contacts on the radio align with those on the charger. The charging indicator light will illuminate.
3. Alternatively, you can remove the battery and place it directly into the charging buckle on the desktop charger.
4. A full charge typically takes several hours. The indicator light will change color or turn off when charging is complete.

4.3. Attaching Accessories (Belt Clip, Hand Strap)

Attach the belt clip to the back of the walkie-talkie for easy carrying. Thread the hand strap through the designated loop for added security.

5.1. אײַנשטעלן/אויסשטעלן און באַנד אַדזשאַסטמענט

דרייען די Power Switch / Volume Adjust Knob (7) clockwise to power on the radio. Continue rotating to increase volume. Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease volume and power off.

5.2. קאַנאַל סעלעקציע

דרוק די MENU button (10) to enter the menu. Use the אויסקלייַבן קיז (5) to navigate to the channel setting. Press MENU again to confirm your selection. The T80 has 8 available channels.

5.3. טראַנסמיטינג און ריסיווינג (PTT)

צו שיקן, דריק און האלט די פּטט קנעפּל (2) and speak clearly into the מיקראָפאָן (12). Release the PTT button to receive. Ensure you are on the same channel and privacy code as the other party.

5.4. VOX פונקציע (הענט-פריי)

The VOX function allows transmission without pressing the PTT button. To activate/deactivate VOX and adjust sensitivity:

5.5. LED Flashlight Operation

To set privacy codes:

1. דרוק די MENU button (10) repeatedly until the CTCSS or DCS setting appears.
2. ניצן די אויסקלייַבן קיז (5) to choose the desired code (01-38 for CTCSS, 01-60 for DCS).
3. דרוק MENU to confirm. Both radios must be set to the same channel and privacy code to communicate.
