The respekta CH 22098-90 IXB is a 90 cm wall-mounted cooker hood designed to efficiently remove cooking vapors and odors from your kitchen. It features a high-quality stainless steel construction, LED lighting, and three power levels for effective ventilation.

The cooker hood is designed for wall mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to support the appliance's weight (approximately 15 kg) and that there is sufficient space for installation.

Refer to the following diagrams for detailed mounting dimensions and clearances. It is recommended to maintain a minimum distance of 65 cm between the cooking surface and the bottom of the cooker hood.

Connect the cooker hood to a standard 230 Volt, 50 Hz power supply. The appliance comes with a 120 cm power cable. Ensure the power outlet is easily accessible after installation.

3.3 Ducting Connection (Exhaust Air Operation)

For exhaust air operation, connect the cooker hood to an external ventilation system using a 150 mm diameter duct. Ensure the ducting is as short and straight as possible to maximize extraction efficiency.

3.4 Recirculation Operation

For recirculation operation, charcoal filters (not included) must be installed. The filtered air is then returned to the kitchen. Consult the charcoal filter instructions for proper installation.

5.1 Cleaning the Metal Grease Filters

The metal grease filters (MIZ 2210) collect grease particles from cooking vapors. They should be cleaned regularly, approximately every 3-4 weeks, depending on usage. To clean:

Clean the stainless steel surfaces with a soft cloth and a non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner. Avoid using abrasive sponges, harsh detergents, or corrosive cleaners, as these can damage the finish.
