This manual provides instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your BRITA Marella jug.

- Clean the Jug: Wash the jug (excluding the lid) in a dishwasher or by hand with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly. The lid should be wiped clean with a damp שטאָף.
- Prepare the MAXTRA+ Filter:
- Remove the filter from its protective wrapper.
- Submerge the filter in cold water for approximately 15 minutes to remove any air bubbles.
- אַרייַנלייגן די פילטער: Place the prepared MAXTRA+ filter into the funnel of the jug. Press down firmly until it clicks into place.
- ערשטע פילטראַציע: Fill the jug with tap water. Discard the first two filtered fillings. This primes the filter and ensures optimal performance.

- Filling the Jug: Open the flip-top lid and fill the jug with cold tap water. The water will pass through the MAXTRA+ filter into the main reservoir.

- To activate the indicator after inserting a new filter, press and hold the 'START' button until the display shows 100%.
- The indicator will gradually decrease over approximately one month, signaling the remaining filter life.
- גיסן וואַסער: Once the water has filtered through, you can pour it directly from the jug. The lid is designed to prevent unfiltered water from mixing with filtered water during pouring.
