סעטאַפּ און ינסטאַלירונג

Follow these steps to correctly install your Graco SnugRide i-Size Car Seat using the ISOFIX base.

Installing the ISOFIX Base:

1. Position the ISOFIX base on the desired vehicle seat. Ensure the vehicle seat is suitable for ISOFIX installation.
2. Extend the ISOFIX connectors from the base.
3. Align the ISOFIX connectors with your vehicle's ISOFIX anchor points. Push the base firmly until the connectors click into place and the indicators turn green.
4. Extend the load leg until it firmly touches the vehicle floor. Ensure the indicator on the load leg also turns green.
5. Wiggle the base to ensure it is securely attached and does not move excessively.

Operating the Car Seat

Placing Your Child in the Seat:

1. Open the harness buckles and position your child in the car seat.
2. Bring the shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and connect the buckle tongues into the crotch buckle until they click.
3. Pull the harness adjustment strap to tighten the harness until it is snug against your child's body. You should not be able to pinch any slack at the shoulder.

Adjusting the Headrest and Harness:

The headrest and harness system can be adjusted simultaneously with one hand to accommodate your child's growth.

1. Locate the headrest adjustment lever, typically at the top rear of the car seat.
2. Squeeze the lever and slide the headrest up or down to the desired position. The shoulder straps will adjust automatically.
3. Ensure the shoulder straps are at or just below your child's shoulders for rear-facing use.

Adjusting Seat Recline:

The car seat offers a 7-way adjustable seat for optimal comfort and legroom as your child grows.

1. Locate the recline adjustment handle, usually at the front or side of the base.
2. Press the handle and adjust the seat to one of the 7 available recline positions.
3. Ensure the recline angle is appropriate for your child's age and the vehicle's seating angle, maintaining a safe and comfortable position.
