The Mammoth hinge is designed for fast and easy installation using the Quick-Fix system. It is compatible with both left and right-handed gates.

  • Ensure the gate frame and post are structurally sound and capable of supporting the hinge and gate weight (up to 150 kg).
  • Gather necessary tools: measuring tape, drill, appropriate fasteners (not included, specific to gate material), level, wrench.

Mounting the Hinges

The Mammoth hinge includes an upper hinge and a lower hinge (Dino).

  1. Position the upper and lower hinge components accurately on the gate frame and post. The hinge allows for 2-way adjustment (2 x 20 mm) to ensure perfect alignment.
  2. Mark the drilling points for the Quick-Fix system.
  3. Drill pilot holes as required by your gate material.
  4. Securely attach the hinge components using the Quick-Fix fasteners. Ensure all connections are tight and the hinge is level.
  5. Attach the gate to the installed hinges.
