Assembly and Initial Checks

The Promac 349V is delivered without a base. Ensure the bandsaw is placed on a stable, level, and secure workbench or stand capable of supporting its weight (approx. 21 kg) and the workpiece.

Preparing for a Cut

1. Select Blade Speed: Use the speed variator to select the appropriate blade speed (25-80 m/min) for the material being cut. Harder metals generally require slower speeds.
2. Adjust Cutting Angle: If an angled cut is required, adjust the pivoting arch up to 60°D. Securely lock the arch in the desired position.

4. Maintain a firm grip on the handle and guide the saw through the material.
5. Once the cut is complete, lift the saw clear of the workpiece and turn off the power. Wait for the blade to stop completely before handling the material or making any adjustments.
