  1. אַנפּאַק: Carefully remove the power strip and motion sensor from its packaging.
  2. אָרט: Place the power strip on a flat, stable surface, away from sources of heat or moisture. Ensure adequate ventilation.
  3. Connect Motion Sensor: Plug the cable from the motion sensor into the designated "control" port on the power strip. Position the motion sensor in an area where it can effectively detect movement within the desired range.
  4. צאַפּן אין וואנט אָוטלעט: Insert the power strip's angled space saver plug into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
  5. פאַרבינדן דיווייסאַז:
    • קאָנטראָל אָוטלעט: Plug your primary device (e.g., computer, TV, monitor) into the "Control" outlet. This device's power state will influence the "Switched" outlets.
    • סוויטשט אַוטלעץ: Plug peripheral devices (e.g., speakers, printer, external hard drives, gaming consoles) into the "Switched" outlets. These outlets will turn on/off based on the control device's activity and/or motion detection.
    • Always On Outlet: Plug devices that require continuous power (e.g., router, modem, phone charger) into the "Always On" outlet. This outlet remains powered as long as the power strip is plugged in and the main power switch is ON.
  6. מאַכט אויף: Flip the 2-in-1 power ON/OFF rocket switch to the "ON" position. The surge protection LED should illuminate green, indicating active surge protection.

Understanding Outlet Behavior

The Trickle Star Motion Sensor PowerStrip is designed to intelligently manage power to connected devices.

  • קאָנטראָל אָוטלעט: This outlet is always active when the power strip is on. It monitors the power consumption of the device plugged into it.
  • סוויטשט אַוטלעץ: These outlets receive power when the device in the Control Outlet is active (e.g., a TV is turned on, a computer is running) און motion is detected by the connected sensor. If the control device is off or in standby, and no motion is detected for a set period, the switched outlets will power down to save energy.
  • Always On Outlet: This outlet provides continuous power to devices, regardless of the control outlet's status or motion detection, as long as the main power switch is ON.

געפירט ינדיקאַטאָרס

  • Surge Status LED (Green): When illuminated, this LED indicates that the surge protection feature of the power strip is active and functioning correctly. If this light is off, the surge protection may have been compromised, and the power strip should be replaced.
  • סוויטשט אַוטלעץ LED: This LED indicates the power status of the switched outlets. It will illuminate when the switched outlets are receiving power and turn off when they are not.

קרייַז ברעאַקער

The 2-in-1 power ON/OFF rocket switch also functions as a 15 amp resettable circuit breaker. In the event of an overload, the switch may trip to the "OFF" position to protect connected devices and the power strip itself. To reset, simply switch it back to the "ON" position after reducing the load.
