Familiarize yourself with the controls and features of your JCR-310 unit.

סעטאַפּ

1. מאַכט קאַנעקשאַן

Connect the AC power cord to a standard AC 120V~60Hz wall outlet. The unit is now powered for operation.

2. באַטאַרייע באַקקופּ ינסטאַלירונג

For clock and alarm memory backup during power outages, install 2 x 'AA' (UM-3) batteries (not included). The battery compartment is located under the CD lid. Ensure correct polarity (+ and -) when inserting batteries.

3. באַשטעטיקן די זייגער

1. In standby mode (unit off, time displayed), press and hold the צייט שטעלן קנעפּל.
2. The hour digits will flash. Use the טונינג אַרויף/אַראָפּ קנעפלעך צו סטרויערן די שעה. באאכטן דעם PM אינדיקאטאר.
3. דרוק צייט שטעלן again. The minute digits will flash. Use the טונינג אַרויף/אַראָפּ קנעפּלעך צו סטרויערן די מינוט.
4. דרוק צייט שטעלן one more time to confirm and exit clock setting mode.

אַפּערייטינג ינסטראַקשאַנז

1. ראַדיאָ אָפּעראַציע

1. דרוק די מאַכט / סטאַנדביי button to turn on the unit. Press repeatedly to select FM or AM radio mode.
2. סטרויערן די באַנד using the dedicated volume controls.
3. מאַנואַל טונינג: דרוק די טונינג אַרויף/אַראָפּ קנעפּלעך קורץ צו סטרויערן די אָפטקייט שריט ביי שריט.
4. אָטאַמאַטיק טונינג: דריקן און האַלטן די טונינג אַרויף/אַראָפּ buttons for a few seconds. The radio will scan and stop at the next strong station.
5. באַשטעטיקן פּרעסעץ:

2. סי-די שפּילער אָפּעראַציע

The JCR-310 supports CD-R/RW discs.

2. Place a CD with the label side facing up into the compartment.

6. דרוק שפּיל / פּויזע again to pause playback. Press it once more to resume.

8. האָפּקען טראַקס: דרוק די טונינג אַרויף/אַראָפּ buttons briefly to skip to the next or previous track.
9. זוכן: דריקן און האַלטן די טונינג אַרויף/אַראָפּ buttons during playback to fast forward or rewind within a track.
10. איבערחזרן שפּיל: דרוק די איבערחזרן button once to repeat the current track. Press it again to repeat all tracks.
11. פּראָגראַם שפּיל:
    • אין STOP מאָדע, דריק די פּראָגראַם button. "P01" will flash.
    • ניצן די טונינג אַרויף/אַראָפּ buttons to select the desired track for program 1.
    • דרוק פּראָגראַם again to confirm and move to the next program slot.
    • Repeat for up to 20 tracks. Press שפּיל / פּויזע צו אָנהייבן פּראָגראַמירטע ווידערשפּיל.

3. אַגזיליערי ינפּוט

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack on the unit using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Press the מאַכט / סטאַנדביי button repeatedly to select AUX mode. Audio from the external device will play through the JCR-310 speakers. Control playback from your external device.

4. שרעק פאַנגקשאַנז

The JCR-310 features dual alarms (AL1 and AL2). The unit operates in two main modes: זייגער מאָדע (when the unit is off, displaying time) and אַודיאָ מאָדע (when the unit is on, playing radio, CD, or AUX). Some buttons perform different functions depending on the active mode.

1. Preparing for CD/Radio Alarm:
   • If you intend to wake to CD, first switch the unit to CD mode (Audio Mode), load your desired CD, and set the playback volume to a comfortable level.
   • If you intend to wake to Radio, first switch the unit to Radio mode (Audio Mode), tune to your desired station, and set the playback volume to a comfortable level.
   • Once prepared, turn the unit off (return to Clock Mode) before setting the alarm.

3. Selecting Alarm Source (Wake to CD/Radio/Buzzer):
   • After confirming the alarm time, press the שרעק 1/2 button repeatedly to cycle through the wake modes: Buzzer (B), Radio (R), or CD (C). The selected mode will be indicated on the display (e.g., AL1-B, AL1-R, AL1-C).
4. אַקטיווירן/דעאַקטיווירן אַלאַרם: דרוק די שרעק 1 or שרעק 2 button briefly (do not hold) to toggle the alarm on or off. The alarm indicator (AL1 or AL2) will appear/disappear on the display.
