• It is normal for a small amount of smoke or odor to be produced during the first few minutes of use. This will disappear after a short time.
• For optimal performance, fill the water tank and use the steam function on an old cloth for a few minutes to prime the system.

4. Fill the water tank with clean tap water up to the 'MAX' level indicator (320 ml capacity). Do not overfill.

באַמערקונג: The Rowenta DW9220 is designed to use regular tap water. However, if your water is very hard, it is recommended to use a mixture of 50% tap water and 50% distilled water to prolong the life of your iron.

• Continuous Steam: Ensure the temperature dial is set to a steam-compatible setting (usually indicated by steam symbols on the dial). The iron will automatically produce continuous steam. The variable steam output is up to 50 g/min.
• Shot of Steam (Steam Boost): For stubborn creases, press the steam trigger button. This delivers an extra burst of steam (up to 200 g/min). Wait a few seconds between shots to allow the iron to reheat.
