The Santevia Gravity Water System is designed to provide you with clean, mineralized, and alkaline water directly from your countertop. This system utilizes a multi-stage filtration process to reduce impurities and enhance your drinking water with essential minerals like calcium, magnesium, and potassium. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Santevia Gravity Water System.

The Santevia Gravity Water System is a multi-layered water filtration unit designed for countertop use. It features a top reservoir for unfiltered water, a multi-stage filter cartridge, mineral stones in the lower tank, and a spigot for dispensing purified water. The system is white with clear blue-tinted tanks.

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your Santevia Gravity Water System:

3.1 ערשט רייניקונג

Wash all plastic components (Base, Upper Tank, Lower Tank, Lid, Middle Ring) with a soft sponge and warm water. Do NOT use abrasive scrubbers on the plastic parts as this can scratch them. Rinse thoroughly.

3.2 Spigot Installation

1. Take one washer and place it onto the neck of the spigot.
2. Insert the spigot through the hole in the Lower Tank from the outside.
3. Place the second washer onto the spigot stem from the inside of the Lower Tank.
4. Fasten the magnetic nut onto the end of the spigot stem from the inside. Tighten hand-tight. Do not overtighten.

3.3 Mineral Stones Preparation

1. Add the Mineral Stones to a pot of boiling water and boil for 2 minutes.
2. Drain the stones and place them onto a clean towel to cool and dry completely.
3. Once cool and dry, gently place the Mineral Stones into the base of the Lower Tank. Spread them evenly.

3.4 Filter Installation (Fluoride or 5-Stage)

1. Remove the shrink wrap from the Fluoride Filter.
2. Condition the filter by running it under cold water until the effluent runs clear. Gently tap and shake the filter to loosen any carbon.
3. Dry the outside of the filter.
4. Attach the cartridge connector to the top of the filter. Screw hand-tight.
5. Place the assembled filter onto the Middle Ring.

3.5 Ceramic Pre-filter Conditioning

1. Place the Ceramic Pre-filter upside down in a bowl of water for 10 minutes.
2. After conditioning, take the grey scrub pad (included in the box) and scrub the top of the pre-filter under running water. This removes any residue and increases flow.

1. Place the Lower Tank assembly onto the Base.
2. Place the Middle Ring (with the installed filter) onto the Lower Tank.
3. Attach the conditioned Ceramic Pre-filter to the Upper Tank. Ensure one washer is on the inside and one on the outside of the Upper Tank, then secure with the nut hand-tight.
4. Place the Upper Tank onto the Middle Ring.
5. Place the Lid on top of the Upper Tank.

To use your Santevia Gravity Water System:

1. Pour tap water into the Upper Tank. The water will slowly filter through the Ceramic Pre-filter and the Fluoride/5-Stage Filter into the Lower Tank.
2. Allow the water to pass through the Mineral Stones in the Lower Tank for mineralization.
3. For initial use, run at least two full Upper Tanks of water through the system and discard this water (e.g., use it to water plants). This primes the filters and removes any loose carbon.
4. Once the Lower Tank is full, do not add more water to the Upper Tank to prevent overflow.
5. To dispense water, simply open the spigot.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Santevia system:

• Clean all plastic tanks and the lid regularly with a soft sponge and warm water.
• The Ceramic Pre-filter should be scrubbed with the grey scrub pad under running water every 1-2 months, or when flow rate decreases.
