The Gann Hydromette Compact B is an electronic structural moisture indicator designed for non-destructive measurement of moisture in various building materials. Utilizing a high-frequency measurement method with a versatile ball probe, this device allows for quick and easy detection of moisture distribution in walls, ceilings, and floors. It features a digital LCD display for clear readings and is an ideal preliminary test unit for all CM devices.

4. סעטאַפּ

4.1 באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג

1. געפינט דעם דעקל פונעם באַטעריע־אָפּטייל אויף דער הינטערשטער זייט פונעם אַפּאַראַט.
2. שלעפּט אָדער נעמט אַראָפּ דעם דעקל צו עפֿענען דעם אָפּטייל.
3. Insert a new 9V block battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. פאַרמאַכן די באַטאַרייע אָפּטייל דעקן סיקיורלי.

The device can also be powered by a Ni-Cd battery (special accessory, not included).

4.2 פּאַוערינג אויף / אַוועק

• To power on the device, press the designated power button (if available) or simply place the ball probe against a surface to activate.
• The device features automatic calibration upon power-on.
• The device typically powers off automatically after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.

The Hydromette Compact B uses a patented dielectric constant/high-frequency measurement principle. This method allows for non-destructive moisture detection without the need for separate electrodes or cables.

5.2 מעאַסורינג

2. Place the ball probe firmly against the surface of the material you wish to measure.
3. The digital LCD display will show the moisture reading in digits (0 to 100).

5. Note the readings to identify areas of higher moisture content.

The Hydromette Compact B is particularly useful as a quick preliminary indicator for various building materials before using more precise CM devices.
