1. Attach Speedring Insert to Strobe: Align the Fotodiox Speedring insert with the mounting mechanism on your Elinchrom Monolight (Prolinca, BXRi Style, D-lite, Ranger, or EL Series Strobe Light). Gently push and rotate the speedring until it locks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated and cannot be easily removed.
2. Assemble Softbox: Follow your softbox manufacturer's instructions to assemble the softbox frame. Insert the softbox rods into the designated holes on the Fotodiox Speedring base plate. The speedring is designed to fit standard 1/4" (6mm-7mm) rods.
3. Secure Softbox: Once all rods are inserted, ensure the softbox fabric is properly stretched and secured over the frame. The speedring features a rotation ring with a thumb screw lock, allowing for precise positioning of the softbox.
