This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your EBS Classic 500 amplifier. Please read it thoroughly before using the product to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

- סערוויס: דו זאלסט נישט פּרווון צו דינען די amplifier yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
- אָרט: שטעלן די amplifier on a stable, level surface. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- רעדנער קאַנעקשאַנז: Always use high-quality speaker cables with appropriate connectors. Ensure correct impedance matching between the amplifier and speaker cabinet(s).

- PRE EQ / POST EQ Switch: Selects whether the balanced output signal is taken before (Pre) or after (Post) the amplifier's EQ section.

6. סעטאַפּ
- מאַכט קשר: פאַרזיכערן די amplifier's POWER switch is OFF and the STANDBY switch is in the STANDBY position. Connect the supplied power cord to the MAINS INPUT on the rear panel and then to a grounded AC outlet.
- רעדנער קשר: Connect your bass speaker cabinet(s) to the SPEAKER OUTPUTS using high-quality speaker cables. Ensure the total impedance of your cabinets is 4 ohms or higher.
- מכשיר קשר: Connect your bass guitar to the INPUT jack on the front panel using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
- עקסטערנע קאַנעקשאַנז (אפציאָנעל): If using, connect the BALANCED OUTPUT to a mixing console or recording interface, or the LINE OUT to other equipment. Adjust the PRE/POST EQ and GND LIFT switches as needed.
7. אַפּערייטינג ינסטרוקטיאָנס
- מאַכט אויף: With all connections made, turn the POWER switch ON. The power indicator LED will illuminate. Wait a few moments, then switch the STANDBY switch to the ON position.
- ערשט סעטטינגס: Start with the GAIN, DRIVE, and VOLUME controls set to their minimum positions. Set the EQ controls (BASS, LOW MID, HIGH MID, TREBLE) to their center (flat) positions.
- אַדזשאַסטינג געווינס: While playing your instrument, slowly increase the GAIN control until the "Peak" LED flashes occasionally on your loudest notes. This indicates optimal input level without excessive clipping.
- אַדזשאַסטינג באַנד: Slowly increase the VOLUME control to achieve your desired listening level.
- טון פאָרמירונג: Use the BASS, LOW MID, HIGH MID, and TREBLE controls to sculpt your desired tone. Experiment with the CHARACTER switch for different tonal starting points.
- Adding Drive: Gradually increase the DRIVE control to introduce harmonic richness and overdrive.
- מאַכט אַוועק: When finished, switch the STANDBY switch to STANDBY, then turn the POWER switch OFF. Disconnect the power cord from the wall outlet.

- Fuse Replacement: אויב די amplifier does not power on, check the fuse located in the MAINS INPUT receptacle. Replace it only with a fuse of the exact same type and rating (e.g., T 5 AL 250V for 220-240V, T 10 AL 250V for 100-120V). Refer to the rear panel markings for correct fuse specifications.
