The Lifetime Chicago Portable Basketball Hoop is designed for recreational use, featuring a durable 32-inch (81 cm) backboard, an adjustable height range from 168 cm to 229 cm (5.5 to 7.5 feet), and a stable 38-liter base equipped with wheels for easy portability. Its robust construction includes a galvanized steel pole, a stainless steel rim with a nylon net, and a double-layer polyethylene (HDEP) backboard with UV-protected graphics for long-lasting vibrant colors.

- Always ensure the base is completely filled with sand or water before use to prevent tipping. A partially filled base can lead to instability.
- Do not hang on the rim, net, or any part of the basketball system. Hanging can cause the unit to tip over, resulting in severe injury.
- Adult supervision is required for children using the basketball hoop.
- Regularly inspect all bolts, nuts, and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Loose hardware can compromise stability.
- Do not attempt to move the system when the base is full. Drain the base or use the integrated wheels by tilting the unit carefully.

4. אויפשטעלן און צוזאמענשטעלן
Assembly typically requires two adults and basic tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers). Follow the steps below carefully.
- אַסעמבאַל די פּאָול סעקשאַנז: Connect the galvanized steel pole sections according to the diagrams provided in your printed manual. Ensure all connections are secure.
- Attach the Backboard and Rim: Secure the 32-inch backboard to the upper pole section using the provided hardware. Then, attach the stainless steel rim and nylon net to the backboard. Ensure all bolts are tightened firmly.

- Connect Pole to Base: Insert the lower pole section into the portable base. Secure it using the designated hardware.
- פֿילט אויס די באַזע: The base has a 38-liter capacity. Fill the base completely with either sand or water to ensure maximum stability. Sand provides greater stability and is recommended for permanent outdoor placement.

- סטרויערן די הייך: The telescopic pole allows for height adjustment. Loosen the adjustment knob, slide the pole to the desired height (between 168 cm and 229 cm), and then securely tighten the knob.

5. אַפּערייטינג ינסטרוקטיאָנס
5.1 אַדזשאַסטינג די הייך
The Lifetime Chicago basketball hoop features a telescopic height adjustment mechanism.
- Ensure the area around the pole is clear.
- Locate the adjustment knob on the rear of the pole.
- Loosen the knob by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Carefully slide the upper pole section up or down to the desired height. The system can be adjusted between 168 cm (5.5 feet) and 229 cm (7.5 feet).
- Once the desired height is reached, tighten the adjustment knob securely by turning it clockwise until the pole is firmly locked in place.
5.2 Moving the Basketball System
The portable base is equipped with wheels for easy relocation.
- Ensure the base is filled for stability during movement, but do not attempt to lift the entire system when full.
- Carefully tilt the system forward by grasping the pole, allowing the base to rest on its wheels.
- Roll the system to the desired new location.
- Gently lower the system back onto its full base, ensuring it is stable and level before use.

- Check Base Fill Level: Periodically check the base to ensure it remains completely filled with sand or water. Refill as necessary, especially after prolonged use or exposure to weather.
