This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Thomson ROC 550 Universal Remote Control. Please read this manual carefully before using the device to ensure proper functionality and to avoid potential issues.

1. באַטאַרייע ייַנמאָנטירונג
- עפֿנט דעם דעקל פֿון דער באַטעריע־אָפּטיילונג, וואָס געפֿינט זיך אויף דער הינטערשטער זײַט פֿון דער ווײַטקאָנטראָל.
- Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included), ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- פאַרמאַכן די באַטאַרייע אָפּטייל דעקן סיקיורלי.
2. פּראָגראַממינג די רימאָוט קאָנטראָל
The Thomson ROC 550 can be programmed to control various television sets. There are typically two methods for programming:
מעטאָד א: דירעקט קאָד אַרייַנטרעטן
- קער אויף די טעלעוויזיע וואָס איר ווילט צו קאָנטראָלירן.
- Locate the brand-specific code for your TV in the provided code list (usually a separate booklet or online resource).
- דריקן און האַלטן די שטעלן קנעפּל אויף דער ווײַטקאָנטראָל ביז די אינדיקאַטאָר ליכט צינדט זיך אָן.
- Enter the 3-digit code for your TV brand using the number buttons.
- If the code is valid, the indicator light will turn off. Test the remote by pressing the מאַכט button. If the TV turns off, the programming was successful.
- If the TV does not respond, repeat the process with the next code listed for your brand.
מעטאָד ב: אויטאָ קאָד זוכן
- קער אויף די טעלעוויזיע וואָס איר ווילט צו קאָנטראָלירן.
- דריקן און האַלטן די שטעלן button until the indicator light illuminates.
- דרוק די מאַכט button once. The indicator light will flash, indicating the remote is searching for a code.
- Point the remote at the TV and wait. The remote will cycle through codes. When the TV turns off, immediately press the שטעלן קנעפּל צו ראַטעווען דעם קאָד.
- Test the remote's functions (e.g., volume, channel). If all functions work, programming is complete. If not, repeat the auto-search process.
אַפּערייטינג די רימאָוט קאָנטראָל
Once programmed, your Thomson ROC 550 Universal Remote Control functions similarly to your original TV remote. Below are common button functions:

- Navigation Arrows (Up/Down/Left/Right): נאַוויגירט דורך מעניוז.
- OK/ENTER: באַשטעטיקט אויסוואַלן אין מעניוז.

- באַטערי פאַרבייַט: Replace batteries when the remote's range decreases or the indicator light fails to illuminate during button presses. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new ones of the same type.
